When Helen and Chris got in touch and said they were getting married at a vineyard I started packing my bags. Two days in the South of France sounded blissful and I was fully onboard.
Wedding Photography at Little Wold Vineyard
It turns out there is a vineyard in the East Riding of Yorkshire…… and it turns out it’s a fabulous wedding venue and award winning vineyard to boot!
Wedding Venue in Beverley
On a hillside just above Beverley are 12,000 vines and a beautiful function venue that worked so well for Helen and Chris’s wedding. My hands off, relaxed wedding photography was just what the couple wanted and the whole day was a real joy to photograph.
When I arrived at Helen’s she was still at the hair dressers so her dad ran me down there and and I caught a bit of the action – then back home to get ready. I met the rest of the wedding at the church (where we squeezed in some quick family photos at the church door after the ceremony) then it was off across the Humber Bridge to the wedding celebration at Little Wold Vineyard.
Ice Creams and Fireworks
The rest of the day played out as planned (despite a little shower during the wedding breakfast) and the arrival of an ice cream van and a firework display capped off the night.
