Birtsmorton Court Wedding Photographer – AI Edition

I’ve photographed weddings at Birtsmorton Court a few times and it’s always a fabulous venue to work at – relaxed couples in beautiful surroundings, super staff and just a great place to bring family and friends for a wedding.

I’ve blogged about Birtsmorton Court too. So this time I thought I’d challenge Artificial Intelligence to have a go a writing all about this lovely place in Worcestershire – I asked ChatGPT:

“Write a blog post about photographing weddings at Birtsmorton Court”

And this is the results….

Bouquet arrives at a wedding at a Birtsmorton Court wedding in Worcestershire

Bride getting ready at a wedding at a Birtsmorton Court wedding in Worcestershire

Bride seeing her bouquet at a wedding at a Birtsmorton Court wedding in Worcestershire

Breakfast room being dressed at a wedding at a Birtsmorton Court wedding in Worcestershire

What do I conclude from this – AI is great if you want to be bland, matter of fact and personality-less. There is none of me in here. It’s much like approaching wedding photography in a cookie-cutter, off the shelf manner as taught on courses like ‘How To Be A Successful Wedding Photographer’ or ’10 Things Wedding Photographers Don’t Want You To Know!’ – yes you can work through the day ticking off photos from a list of ‘must-haves’ but in doing so you miss what’s REALLY happening, what the day was ACTUALLY about.

Rather than writing what I think people want to hear and what AI expects is the ‘right answer’ – I’d much rather say it’s not about STUFF or SCENERY, it’s about PEOPLE. And that’s the one thing ChatGPT fails to mention.

The photos are of you and your guests and should therefore tell you something ABOUT you, not just where you were.

Thank you.
