I loved Adam and Lina’s wedding at Huntsham Court in Devon. It was such a joy to photograph – beautiful venue, relaxed atmosphere and a collection of lovely people to spend the day with.

“Just Do Your Thing”

When we’d chatted before the wedding day Adam and Lina had said ‘Just do your thing’ which it always music to my ears. It just meant that they got it – what we all were interested in was everybody having a great time and me there to capture the atmosphere, story and big and small moments throughout the day. No posing, no stopping every five minutes for photos, nothing getting in the way with the flow of the day. Perfect.

It was the first time I’d been to Huntsham Court and what a terrific venue it is. They’d booked it for the weekend which meant everyone could rock up on the Friday, wedding on the Saturday and stay for a leisurely breakfast the following day. I was staying locally on the Friday so I popped by to say ‘hello’ which made it all the more relaxed for the wedding day plus I could give a hand stocking the bar as I arrived just as the booze did!
