Last Friday was Cara and James wedding at Colshaw Hall in Cheshire.

It’s been a few years since I’d done any Colshaw Hall wedding photography and it was great to go back – a few things had changed (what was a small marquee is now a permanent extension) and I’d not photographed a wedding ceremony there before.

Laid back wedding day

Cara and James had wanted a laid back celebration of their marriage and they’d designed the day so it could be just this. It was a later ceremony and they’d all stayed at Colshaw Hall the night before which meant that there was no rushing around to get ready on the morning of the wedding.

A Saxophonist and Drummer to kick it up a notch!

Apart from the odd bit of seasonal wind and rain things went pretty much to plan. Dresses and suits were donned, guests arrived, rings exchanged, hugs and drinks, kinds words and tears, food consumed then time or the evening party…. and do they like to party! I love a bit of dancing and this was epic, especially when the saxophonist and drummer arrived to kick it up another notch!
