Catherine and Prem’s Relaxed Garden Wedding Photography in Surrey

Here’s a little preview of Prep and Catherine’s wedding that I photographed last Saturday near Godalming in Surrey.

I love the fact that it wasn’t your standard wedding day, they had planned a day that suited them and I love to be a bee to offer a more bespoke approach to wedding photography.

There were two ceremonies (a small family service at the local church followed by a larger humanist ceremony for friends later), a lunch at the house and at the local pub and it all took place in Catherine’s parents garden. This sort of relaxed garden wedding meant that the day can be exactly as the couple wanted it – fitting to their timetable and meaning no part of the day was rushed.

This approach is always a bonus for me. I photograph weddings in a very relaxed, candid story-telling fashion so allowing each part of the day to unfold naturally really helps my photography on the day.

It was a full day for me. I arrived at 10am and drove off into the night at 11pm but that gave me the opportunity to really photograph the wedding day as I saw it.

Here are a few taster photos from Catherine and Prem’s wedding day – I’m really looking forward to editing the rest…
