Popular Instagram Wedding Photos – March 2018

I’m looking back at my most popular instagram wedding photos of the last month and trying to see if there is a connection. Like my photography they are all about people, most of the photos show someone at the height of an emotion, they are all moments from the wedding day that that we could recognise what’s part of the day it is – even if it’s not conventionally framed or is a ‘reaction’ rather than an ‘action’. I think the connection is that these are some of my favourite photos from the weddings I photographed.

On the day I’m always looking for something that is interesting to me – a bored girl watching the speeches, a dog finding it’s mistress, a reflection in a picture in the room that can give us time and place. All these are part of the wedding day and can often say much more than just the expected photos.
