June’s Most Liked Instagram Photos
Share this

It’s time for my monthly round up of my most liked Instagram wedding photos.
I love sharing work on line – not just because it’s good for marketing – but because quite often other photographers get in touch and have questions about how a photograph was achieved or how I work on the wedding day. I’m always happy to share the way I work or what was behind a photograph.
This month there are photographs from a recent weddings in Kent, Wiltshire and Leicestershire and one from a wedding I photographed in Manchester last year.
Most of my wedding photography is documentary but a portrait has sneaked into the selection this month. I find there is usually some element of portraiture at a wedding but I try to keep this fairly low impact and not disappear the couple away from their guests for ages and ages. I think if you put people in good light, ask them to talk to each other and photograph their interaction then you’ll get decent portraits, in about 10 minutes! So often couples talk to me about weddings they’ve been to where the bride and groom disappeared for an hour to take pictures and that really took the focus away from the day for the guests. Good photography is important but I never think it needs to dominate the wedding day.
This months Instagram wedding photography is from:
Leanne & Nathan’s Knowlton Court Wedding
Emma & Jonny’s Orchardleigh House Wedding
Sarah & Sean’s Old Stable Wedding
& Natalie & Matt’s Great John Street Wedding
I’ve just hit 12K Instagram Followers so if you’d like to be one too:
