Documentary Wedding Photography in Wiltshire

Here’s some documentary wedding photography in Wiltshire and Dorset I photographed last year.

It was the end of August and just to prove the point that there is no safe month to get married in the UK – it rained.

The wedding ceremony was at Kingston Magna in Dorset – we then moved on to the family farm in Wiltshire. The marquee set up on top of the highest hill so that we could see the gorgeous countryside around…. That did mean that on the day it was quite windy (the photographer’s nemesis!), but we coped.

It’s about people not places

But with this all said when I photograph a wedding it’s always about the people. The weather and setting are the texture of the day, the context of the story. The real moments stem from the emotions and interaction between people.
