Cotswold Plough Wedding – Tess & Andrew

A couple of weeks ago I joined Andrew & Tess for their Cotswold Plough wedding in Clanfield in Oxfordshire. It’s the second wedding I’d photographed in the area in as many weeks – the previous was at the very different and unique wedding venue of Aynhoe Park.

A Very English Cotswold Plough Wedding

On the day it was a fabulous marriage of cultures too. Tess bringing her South African roots to the celebration with a really tasty BBQ or Braai for the wedding breakfast offset against the very English background of a Cotswold pub and the 12th century Church of St.Mary’s in Little Coxwell.

It was my first visit photographing at The Cotswold Plough and a stylish venue it is. Having exclusive use meant that the run of the pub was theirs and they could make full use of the lovely gardens, rooms and gin pantry!

As with most couplesI work with Tess and Andrew were keen on having a ‘no pressure’ relaxed wedding day and that I photograph it in my candid, story-telling way without imposing on the flow of the day.

Here is a little selection of photographs from their wedding day and I’m really looking forward to editing the rest in the coming week.
