Favourite wedding moments from a challenging but joyous year

It’s that time when I get to look back at the weddings I photographed in the past year. In doing so I wondered would I notice a difference to previous years. We all know the challenges that 2021 held so I was imagining a more ‘muted’ round up, maybe a few moments of triumphalism that weddings actually went ahead…

I’d been with some couples I photographed through 3 or 4 changes of date and even venue so what would their weddings be like when they finally could happen – the answer is just AMAZING.

This is one of the most joyous, excited, tearful, happy explosions of emotion I’ve know.

This year saw:

35 Weddings

34 Different Venues

263,970 Photos Taken

11,368 miles driven

17 Premier Inns

23 Plates of Lamb Eaten

Oh – and I only fell into 1 lake (ask me , it’s really funny…)

I’ve put together a brief highlights reel of my favourite wedding photos from the year – if you’ve five minutes to spare click on the video below and let me know your favourite photo.
