Great John Street Wedding Photography in Manchester : Nat & Matt

On a Friday in May I went up to Manchester for the wedding of Natalie and Matt and it was returning to a venue I’d photographed at before.

More Great John Street Wedding Photography

Living not far from Manchester I’d been invited to do some Great John Street wedding photography before for couples in the past but it always amazes me how even weddings at the same venue can be so very different – and my photography for couples always reflects this. It’s always about the wedding they’ve decided to have not what I think a wedding should look like – that’s very important to me.

Getting married at Great John Street Hotel is always lovely it seems for couples – beautiful venue, great suppliers, accommodating staff and always something a little different.

This time Matt and Natalie had pretty much taken over the whole hotel and as well as having the roof terrace for the ceremony and drinks we were back down to the Oyster Bar for the wedding meal and the evening entertainment – brilliantly supplied by top DJ Andy Murphy and brilliant disco/club tune Brass Band ‘Drum & Brass’ (they were awesome!).

Couples Design their own Day

I love it when couples design their own day and Natalie and Matt had it exactly as they wanted it which meant that my photography on the day was a different as had it been another venue entirely – I always think that if you are interested in the people that are in front of you, and want to tell the story of their day, then you can create some special and memorable wedding photography that only could have happened there and then in that place and at that time.

Here’s a little preview of Matt and Natalie’s very unique Great John Street wedding photography.
